Group by comes to quotations
Group by is now available on quotations, with a few extras.
- Group by on the quotation list and the quotation price list.
- Select more than one field to group by at once.
- Collapse a group-by block when you don’t need it.
A little better every day
Group by is now available on quotations, with a few extras.
Margin and cost price are commercially sensitive, so they can now be hidden per user.
Give a user the “view margins” permission to show these columns, or leave it off to hide them.
Deleting a quotation now happens from its detail page instead of the list, so you confirm the delete with the quotation itself in view.
Companies now have an account manager, next to the existing sales person. Sales person is who manages day-to-day account data, account manager is who owns the commercial relationship going forward.
Two small but common annoyances in bulk actions are fixed.
Searchable dropdown fields now accept a pasted list of values. Copy a column from Excel and paste it in, and Innico splits it and matches each value exactly, so near-matches and typos don’t slip through.
You can now change the customer on a quotation straight from its header, instead of creating a new quotation for the right customer.
Group by shows at a glance where the numbers and amounts in a list come from. It is now available in more places.
The new columns panel lets you choose which columns you see, and in what order.
Bulk edit now opens in a side panel and works on the rows you selected.
When you create an API key, you now choose whether it can only read. A read-only key fetches data but cannot change anything, so you can safely connect a reporting tool, for example.
Manage > API Keys. You can now select all rows in a list and delete them in one go. Useful when you want to clean up a whole selection without clicking row by row.
Under Sales > Budget you set a yearly revenue budget per collection. Next to the budget you see how you are doing.
Filtering is more flexible.
Group by now works with one compact line: Group by [field] · [value], with the breakdown directly below. Where there is nothing to add up, you see the number of rows per group, such as price agreements per validity status.
Each administration now has its own base currency, so you can also work in dollars, for example. Price agreements and quotations follow the customer’s currency, and cost prices and margins are converted to it.
Bulk create adds a whole set of rows at once, based on a selection you choose. Before you confirm, you see a preview of what will be created.
Lists now load one page at a time, and filtering, sorting and totals are calculated on the server. Even lists with tens of thousands of rows open quickly.
Excel exports are now built on the server, so even large lists export quickly, with the same filters and columns as on your screen.
Besides the default price list, you can now create your own price lists and link a customer to one of them. Minimum and maximum prices and the price classification then come from that customer’s price list.
Pricing > Price Lists you see the price items directly, without picking a price list first.Besides quantities, the forecast now shows revenue and margin, next to sales of the past twelve months and the expected growth.
Quotations now help you catch mistakes before you send them.
The sidebar menu has been redesigned, both collapsed and expanded. It is calmer, and takes up less space when collapsed.
For administrations with many customers and items, the monthly forecast calculation sometimes stalled or took very long. It now processes forecasts in batches and runs reliably.
Under Manage > Groups you create groups and decide what their members are allowed to do.
Lists now use filters instead of selectors above the table.
Manage filters.Tables now show totals at the bottom, such as sums and averages. Where it makes more sense, such as for prices, a weighted average is used.
Item pages now have a Stock tab. The stock page shows stock, demand, supply and free stock at a glance.
You can now create prospects, even before they are in your accounting system, and make quotations for them with the items you want to offer.
You can now mark an invoice as a project. Project invoices don’t count towards the forecast, so a one-off large order doesn’t skew your prediction.
The forecast now uses a new model that comes out of our research with the Fraunhofer Innovation Platform. It recognises seasonal patterns and predicts per customer and per item, so differences between customers don’t get lost in an average.
The forecast charts have been redesigned.
Creating a quotation now takes seconds: pick a customer, add a description, and you have an empty draft. Then add prices at your own pace.
Under Stock you see the current stock of all your items. For each item you see how stock develops over time, together with its minimum and maximum stock.
Under Pricing > Quotations you put together quotations for your customers.
Under Manage > Users you add colleagues to your administration and edit their details. New users automatically get an email that they have access.
Innico now fetches your data from Exact Online automatically: items, customers, invoices, sales orders, collections and prices. Changes in Exact Online come through by themselves.
The forecast by item now shows more than expected sales.
Price agreements and quotations can now be in a currency other than the euro, such as the British pound, the US or Australian dollar, the Polish zloty or the Chinese yuan.
The page for bulk creating price agreements has been refreshed. You set prices for a whole selection of items at once, instead of one agreement at a time.
Bulk edit has a new design. You pick a column and an operation, such as a fixed value or a percentage, and apply it in one go. Your last operation and value are kept, so you can keep working quickly.
The RFM analysis has been rebuilt. You still group customers and items by recency, frequency and monetary value, but now see faster what that means.
Sales > Company RFM Analysis and Sales > Item RFM Analysis. The forecast by customer and by item has been extended.
You now see your sales orders and purchase orders in Innico, so you can put expected demand and supply next to the forecast.
Sales > Sales Orders.Supply, with a detail page per order.Working in several administrations? Switch between them from the menu at the top, without signing out or going back to the overview first.
Price agreements show more of what you need to agree on a good price.
The forecast by item has been refreshed.
This changelog starts in December 2024. Innico has been around longer, so features from before then, such as price agreements and NPV models, aren't listed here.
